I've knitted mittens (with and without thumbs) for the girls, but decided I'd try some grown up gloves with fingers and everything. So it was with great trepidtion that I started unraveling 9 rounds of 363 stitches last night - thanks to the gorgeous knitpick needles it was easy - as I was able to use another cable and smaller needle size as the 'safety line' and then just swop the points over when I was finished. I've started my first 'in the round' project - a jacket style thing for Miri. Really enjoying it and then I screwed up and I now have to face frogging in the round - all 363 stitches over 9 rounds. I've now finished Frank's bear - and given how rubbish my previous attempts at knitted toys have been I'm rather pleased. following the disappointment of mike's sweater, it was with great trepidation that I cast off mum's capelet - I would probable make it slightly broader if I was doing it again.
